Want to get your campus talking about activism?
Want to get your classmates doing more than just talking?

Then invite Scott to come speak at your school.

Here is a message from Scott.

"My name is Scott Beale and I promise I will give a different kind of speech on your campus. Most of the speakers I heard while in college were over twice my age and just told me how they had become successful. They talk, people ask questions, you go home and that's it. I come from the Upski school of campus speeches. If you don't know William Upski Wimsatt (Author, No More Prisons), then let me tell he doesn't just give speeches, he plans interactive, motivating events at schools!

I will come to your campus, and hopefully with the help of other Team Millennial volunteers, we will turn the speech into an event on campus. I will reach out to the activist and the apathetic, because we are all part of the same generation and it is not enough to talk to those already involved. I will make the speech an interactive event where for the first 20 minutes I will outline the state of youth politics in America and what we are trying to do at Millennial Politics. Then for the next 40 minutes, we will have a discussion, a back and forth argument trying to identify the most important issues to youth today. I want you to help shape Millennial Politics upcoming book on youth activism and this is your chance!

If you want me to come speak, but don't know how to make it happen, then email me. I'll let you know how to raise the money from student organizations to bring me to campus (between $500 and $1,500) and we'll organize how we can get as many people (students and locals) as possible to come to the event. We can even organize a book signing at your campus book store."

Get Your Campus Engaged!

We at Millennial Politics think the site is a great way to get our word out, but there is nothing like hearing the ideas behind the book in person. This won't be just a speech, but an opportunity for us to ask you questions. A chance to shape the conversation about our generation's priorities. Scott will hand out surveys, ask questions, engage the audience, challenge those in the room and debate and discuss how the future of this generation and how we will change the world. He will stick around long after the speech to talk to organizations, student leaders, and other people about their ideas, opinions and ambitions.

After inviting Scott to come speak you will be hooked into the Millennial Politics network of over 200 Millennial Leaders from across the country and numerous youth and political organizations. We help people find internships, peers, and organizations who can support their goals. We will stay in touch through our newsletter and help support your youth activism in any way we can.

Here are some topics for the speech:
